The Perfect Personalized Snack
By Devon J.
If you ever happen to be taking a break in school and craving a snack, this is it! Studies have found that glucose (sugar, yum!) is the primary source for energy in your body, and protein is needed to function properly, so my mom came up with this recipe for a quick boost. This snack is great for parties, study fuel, or any occasion. You can have as much or as little of each ingredient as you want. Here are a few ingredient ideas so you can personalize your recipe!
- Graham Crackers
- Chocolate Chips
- Candies such as M&Ms or chopped Butterfingers
- Coconut Flakes
- Chocolate Syrup
- Peanut Butter (not the chunky stuff!)
Begin by laying out your graham crackers on a cutting board or counter space and put your other ingredients in bowls around your crackers. Secondly, apply your peanut butter on your crackers as thickly as you want. Third: You get to decorate! Arrange the other ingredients as toppings in fun and decorative designs. No graham crackers? No problem. You can put the peanut butter on a spoon. Take your spoon, scoop out some peanut butter and decorate!
Any way you can imagine, it can be done! You can use any toppings—even marshmallows for a more s’mores like taste. Enjoy this perfect personalized snack for those in-between study times or even with family and friends.
