How to Stay Fit in the Cold Months

It’s that time of year again! Time for blankets, hot cocoa, and fires in the fireplace!
With that being said, it is important to stay in shape through the colder months, and there are many ways you can do that! Some ways include:
- Exercising (There are all kinds of Workout YouTube videos, workout DVDs, etc.)
- Eating hearty and healthy meals! (There are a ton of healthy and delicious winter meals)
- Getting enough sleep! (Especially in the winter and fall it is important to get enough sleep)
- Staying warm! (If you don’t stay warm your blood doesn’t flow as well and that could cause health problems!)
There are a ton of great foods in the winter! Some holidays you can’t avoid junk food, but even when you do eat a lot of junk food you need to balance it with healthy foods! Some of my favorite winter meals are homemade bread, sausage and potato soup, biscuits and gravy, and chili! Some of these are actually way healthier than they sound!
Homemade bread is actually way healthier than store-bought bread, and it’s fun to make!! There are bunches of recipes for bread on “Pinterest”, and “All Recipes” that is where I get most of my recipes!
