Cast Your Vote for Crossword Puzzles This Election Day
Crossword puzzles aren’t just for adults—these fun brainteasers are great for kids, too! Many children remember best by engaging in an activity, which makes solving a puzzle an excellent way to help them memorize historical facts, geographical names, math or science terms, and more.
These puzzles are also fantastic for reviewing the spellings and meanings of new vocabulary words. And, because clues are reworded to be brief, crosswords can also be used to evaluate whether a child truly understands a concept—rather than just having memorized a definition.
We encourage you to make Election Day an opportunity to talk with your children about the importance of the democratic process. To make it even better, we hope you’ll also plan some fun Election Day activities to enjoy as a family. Check out the crossword puzzle below to find out how much you and your kids know about the election, our presidents, and the founding of our country!
