Springtime is a great time to give more attention to taking care of yourself, both inside and out. As the seasons change, so do the tips. With springtime around the corner, check out these tips and see how they can help you achieve a glowing appearance.
1. Glow from the inside.
Beauty starts inside. Treating yourself and others with kindness and respect is something that always makes one glow. Furthermore, drinking water and eating fresh fruits and vegetables and foods with omegas and vitamins A, C, and E are great ways to kick start glowing for this spring.
2. Move over, coconut oil!
While coconut oil has many benefits for the skin, it can clog pores and leave skin feeling a bit dry. Instead, oils such as grapeseed, apricot kernel, and almond oil repair the skin and leave it feeling ten times more moisturized than coconut oil does.
3. Don’t just drink coffee; exfoliate with it.
Coffee has many amazing benefits, but drinking it every day can wreak havoc on your teeth. Instead, exfoliating with a mixture of ground coffee, oil, and a pinch of salt can help slough away dead skin cells, soothe razor bumps, and reduce cellulite and stretch marks. This scrub can make a great bathroom companion.
4. Avoid blemishes.
As the weather gets warmer, the oils that skin produces are at an all-time high. To reduce this, it is best to keep hands and fingers off of your face. A mixture of clay and vinegar is a great way to reduce blemishes along with skincare products that have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
5. Minimal makes a great message.
For makeup wearers, wearing minimal makeup can give a great impression. BB creams, tinted lip balms, and nude and light colors are great for light looks.
